Service and account
HumansReply is operated by Make Opinion GmbH, Elfenallee 5, 13127 Berlin, Germany. These terms describe access to our customer workspace, APIs and participant testing services. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the organization or project represented by your account. Keep account credentials and API keys confidential and promptly report suspected misuse.
Projects, waves and approval
A project can contain multiple waves. Each wave specifies an experience, audience, estimated duration, sample size and budget. Drafts can be edited. Requesting a price does not place an order. Launching a wave confirms its exact quoted specification and reserves the stated credits. Once booked, the test specification is fixed. Changed content or targeting requires a new wave.
Agents act under the authority granted by their account holder. You are responsible for the permissions and spending authority you give to an integration. API retries using the same valid idempotency key do not create a second booking.
Credits, prices and payments
One hundred credits have a service value of EUR 1.00 before applicable taxes. Credits are prepaid access to services, not transferable money or a financial investment. Each accepted completion uses the quoted per-complete amount. Pausing stops new entry while active participants may finish. Cancelling a wave ends active sessions and releases the unused reservation. Released credits return to your workspace balance. Contact us for billing disputes and any refund request; statutory rights remain unaffected.
Tax is calculated at checkout from the billing information and applicable treatment. You are responsible for accurate business, address and tax identification details. Sandbox balances and test payments have no monetary value and cannot purchase live participants.
Audience and delivery
Feasibility estimates depend on currently known profiles and observed supply. Broader reference groups may inform an estimate without changing actual eligibility. Estimates are not guarantees of a specific delivery time, a probability sample or representativeness of an entire population. A deadline stops further delivery and releases unused credits. Significant changes in duration or quality may pause a wave for review rather than silently increasing its price.
Permitted test content
Provide only assets and content that you have the right to use and disclose to participants. Tests must be browser-based and designed to finish within 30 minutes. Do not use the platform for malware, credential collection, unlawful discrimination, prohibited material, coercion, deceptive financial activity or tasks requiring unsafe real-world actions. You must clearly disclose external tracking and avoid unnecessary personal data collection.
Responses and quality review
Responses express participants' opinions and observations. They may be subjective or contain errors. You are responsible for interpreting them and for decisions made by your team or AI agents. A stated preference does not establish actual sales performance or causal impact. Reports of unusable responses are reviewed; disagreement with an opinion is not itself a quality defect. Reporting an issue does not automatically reverse a finalized payment.
Your content and results
You retain your rights in uploaded materials. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, display and deliver them to the selected participants and provide the contracted services. The workspace gives you access to the collected responses for your project use, subject to privacy rights and any third-party rights. Keep your own copies of exported results where needed.
Availability and account restrictions
We may pause delivery or restrict access when necessary to address a security incident, unlawful use, payment failure or material breach. We will act proportionately and provide information where reasonably possible. Contact hello@humansreply.com for operational problems, cancellation and support.
Applicable law
German law applies, subject to mandatory protections that cannot be excluded. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health. Mandatory consumer rights, where applicable, remain unaffected.
